Program Coordinator, Brendan Martin

Brendan is the Woodlands & Waterways EcoWatch (WWEW) Program Coordinator and is an employee of the U-Links Centre for Community Based Research. He is responsible for all things relating to WWEW from logitstics and planning to technical assistance and data analysis. He has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies majoring in Environment and Resource Studies from the University of Waterloo and an Environmental Technologist Diploma from Sir Sanford Fleming College. Brendan has had the pleasure of working with multiple conservation authorities across Southern Ontario in various environmental monitoring roles encompassing wetland evaluation, fisheries assessment, and water chemistry. He received his (first) Ontario Benthos Biomonitoring Network certification in 2015 and has since become a Society of Freshwater Sciences certified taxonomist.
